Metropole Orchestra

For the musical concept of "Stellenbosch" I used a basic structure of strings and harp, recorded with the Metropole Orchestra. Then I overdubbed with oboe, clarinet and french horn, also by members of the Metropole Orchestra.

Eleonore Pameijer

Then I added another very essential instrument for "Stellenbosch", namely bassflute. I recorded this with flute specialist Eleonore Pameijer. It gives an ethnic feel without being too cliche and also adds a depth to the suspension of the drama.
